How do I install Split Test Pro?

Install directly from the Shopify App Store. Search for 'Split Test Pro' or use our direct install link. Once installed, the app will appear in your Shopify admin and you can start creating experiments immediately.

Does Split Test Pro work with my Shopify theme?

Yes — Split Test Pro uses CSS-based testing, which means it works with any Shopify theme without modifying your theme files. Your live store code stays untouched.

How long should I run a test before declaring a winner?

We recommend running tests until you reach at least 95% probability to be best on your winning variant. The time it takes depends on your store's traffic — higher traffic stores will reach statistical significance faster.

What metrics does Split Test Pro track?

Split Test Pro tracks sessions, conversions, conversion rate, probability to be better, and probability to be best for each variant. You can monitor these in real time from your experiments dashboard.

Can I test on specific pages or my entire store?

Both! You can target experiments to a specific URL, a set of URLs matching a pattern, or entire page templates. This gives you full control over exactly where your tests run.

What happens to my store when I run a test?

Your store runs normally. Split Test Pro assigns visitors to variants in the background and applies CSS changes — there is no impact to your store's speed or stability.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Split Test Pro is a monthly subscription with no long-term contract. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin and you will not be billed again.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — Shopify provides a free trial period for new app installs. You can install Split Test Pro and start running experiments before your first billing date.
