A Tour of the Dashboard
Get oriented in Split Test Pro before you create your first experiment. Learn what each section does, where to find your workspace settings, and what the home dashboard tells you at a glance.
The Split Test Pro app has four top-level sections. This guide walks through each so you know where everything lives before you start running tests.
Dashboard
This is your home screen. It shows a snapshot of what’s happening across your workspace.
- Active experiments — what’s currently running, with at-a-glance traffic and the leading variant for each.
- Concluded experiments — recent winners and losers you’ve ended, so you can refer back to results.
- Drafts — experiments you’ve started building but haven’t launched yet.
If you’re brand new and haven’t created anything, the Dashboard prompts you to create your first experiment.
Experiments
The Experiments view is the full list of every experiment in the workspace, regardless of status. From here you:
- Create a new experiment with the Create Experiment button.
- Filter by status (running, paused, completed, archived) or by date.
- Open any experiment to see its General, Targeting, Variants, and Results tabs.
- Copy an existing experiment as the starting point for a new one.
Each experiment card shows its name, status, the number of variants, the primary metric, and a quick view of where the result currently stands.
Settings
Settings is grouped into a few sections, and the exact layout differs slightly between HTML and Shopify because each platform has its own concerns.
Common to both platforms:
- Workspace — name, domain, and the danger zone (workspace deletion).
- Team — invite team members by email with one of two roles (owner, member). See Team and Invites.
- Conversion goals — define what counts as a conversion event for your experiments. See Conversion Goals.
- Integrations — connect Google Analytics 4, Klaviyo, and other supported integrations.
HTML only:
- Script & API — your install snippet and connection status. See Installing on an HTML Site.
- Billing — your Stripe-managed subscription, plan tier, and payment details. See Billing and Plans.
Shopify only:
- Billing — managed via the Shopify App Billing API. Plan changes flow through Shopify’s checkout.
- Theme embed status — confirms the Theme App Extension is active.
Support
Get help when you need it. The Support page contains:
- A link back to this documentation.
- A contact form that emails the Split Test Pro team directly. We respond to all support requests within one business day.
Workspaces and the Workspace Switcher
If you manage multiple sites or stores, you can have multiple workspaces under a single account. The workspace switcher lives in the sidebar footer (HTML) or the top of Settings (Shopify), depending on platform.
Every workspace has its own:
- Experiments and results
- Team members and roles
- Conversion goals
- Subscription / billing
- Install snippet (HTML) or app installation (Shopify)
See Workspaces for the details.
